Welcome to my Studio website. My name is Marcia Meara, and I am a tole and decorative painter, living in the Orlando, Florida area. Recently, I have discovered the amazing art of digital painting. This is not to be confused with photo manipulation, another interesting art form which involves applying special effects to photographs. Digital painting is actually painting a brand new picture, stroke by stroke, exactly as in traditional painting. The only difference is, instead of using wet paints on a canvas or paper, one uses an electronic pen to paint with pixels on a computer screen. Using a Wacom tablet and electronic pen, I have found great enjoyment in painting animal portraits. I hope you will enjoy taking a look around my gallery at some of the work I have done.
